邮箱发来了一封名为“社会最大的悲哀不是坏人的喧嚣，而是好人的沉默”，说实在的这句话很有哲理。邮件的主要内容是讲丹麦法罗群岛残忍屠杀领航鲸的，而且讲说是这纯粹是当地举行的年轻人的成人仪式；当时彻底的被震撼了。
后来,网上找了很多资料,原来法罗群岛是有这种礼仪习俗.大多数法罗群岛的居民认同这种集体捕鲸的狩猎行为，已成为他们的生活文化及历史的重要组成部分。
据说，2008年11月尾，法罗群岛的首席医疗官建议不要再食用领航鲸，因为这些鲸群体内积存的已高至不适合人类食用的水平。不过在2010年7月19日，一名事前混入当地人之中生活的海洋守护者卧底拍摄了一场在Klaksvik城镇进行的屠鲸行动，并把过程上载上网，立时引起全世界的关注。多个团体在网上发行签名运动，意图向丹麦政府施压，令这种屠鲸的活动被禁止。不知道这篇文章是不是Klaksvik的文章，但是无可否认，这种猎杀行为时残忍的，随着人类社会的进步，希望能杜绝类似的行为。
